Building in South Florida: Momentum, Community, and the Founders Driving What's Next

There is an undeniable energy coursing through the South Florida innovation ecosystem right now. It is grounded, practical, and relentlessly focused on execution. Earlier this week, on Monday and Wednesday, I had the privilege of facilitating sessions for the 7th Accelerate Program cohort at the Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation.

Spending focused time in the room with this group of founders was both energizing and inspiring. The startup landscape across South Florida continues to mature rapidly, moving well beyond generic hype into hard problems, vertical depth, and tangible operational impact. Whether building mission-critical software for physical facilities, orchestrating complex supply chains, or creating community-first platforms, the founders in this cohort embody the grit, discipline, and ambition that make this region so compelling.

A heartfelt thank you to Jaap Donath and Frank Knowles at the Levan Center for hosting, organizing, and championing this program. Their tireless commitment to nurturing regional talent, providing structured acceleration, and connecting entrepreneurs with the resources they need to scale makes a lasting difference across Broward County and the greater South Florida community.

Here are the ten exceptional companies and founders from this week's cohort to watch:

Dropfluencer | John Lee

Dropfluencer is building a creator-led commerce marketplace platform where digital creators curate multi-brand storefronts and monetize directly through trusted product recommendations. The platform seamlessly bridges brands and creators to simplify social shopping and affiliate commerce.

Mays | Anil Koksal & Yilmaz Yavuz

Mays provides an all-in-one shift operations platform built specifically for retail and food service operators. From AI photo-verified task checklists and smart scheduling to automated inventory and back-office workflows, Mays replaces fragmented software with a unified tool at a transparent, flat fee per location.

Feel Sceen | Jalphy Saint-Louis

Feel Sceen delivers cultural and audience intelligence for live events, experiential marketing, and brand activations. Their analytics platform empowers brands and event organizers to measure real-world foot traffic, physical engagement, and cultural impact with decision-grade precision.

DeciphAI Cognitive Solutions | Denise Viana Regis Maya

DeciphAI develops DeciCore, an enterprise software platform that converts plain English business descriptions into governed, operational software. Built on decades of enterprise ERP and systems expertise, DeciphAI enables businesses to automate workflows and modernize legacy data with built-in auditability and row-level security.

Rally On Me | David Magana

Rally On Me (Rally Point) provides boots-on-the-ground support and coordination for military veterans across South Florida, filling critical gaps when regional VA centers face long backlogs. Delivered by veterans for veterans, the organization offers peer support, end-to-end benefits navigation, free transportation to medical appointments, and vital crisis intervention.

CoreOp | Braxton Getz

CoreOp is the modern operating system designed for Part 145 repair stations and aviation maintenance operations. By streamlining aircraft intake, standardized job quoting, digital task cards on the shop floor, and FAA/EASA return-to-service compliance paperwork, CoreOp replaces paper binders with a fully audit-ready digital system.

NutraBatch | Christodoulos Stefanadis

NutraBatch powers compliance, batch records, and internal audit management for nutraceutical, dietary supplement, and cosmetic manufacturers. Its platform integrates document control, standard operating procedure (SOP) process mapping, and plant-floor audit readiness to help regulated producers maintain regulatory standards seamlessly.

Value Intelligence | Gary Gayle

Value Intelligence builds governed autonomy infrastructure designed for high-consequence environments where software decisions translate into physical actions. Combining physical sensing, distributed intelligence, and pre-execution governance, their platform establishes verifiable evidence and durable audit trails before autonomous actions execute.

ShowMe-TellMe | Krysten Bacan

ShowMe-TellMe provides specialized IT advisory, data privacy governance, and third-party risk appraisal services. Designed to move organizations beyond superficial compliance checklists, the firm evaluates systemic privacy risks, dark patterns, and data security postures against measurable, defensible standards.

Pyckle | Kai Dear

Pyckle is a mobile recreation platform that connects pickleball players with nearby pickup games, local courts, and players of matching skill levels. The app simplifies game discovery, court check-ins, and score logging to bring players together and grow local pickleball communities.

South Florida is proving every day that world-class companies are built where community, operational focus, and ambitious vision converge. Thank you again to Jaap, Frank, and everyone at the Levan Center for setting the stage for these founders to scale.
